A: KiwiTutor offers personalized English lessons online with a certified Kiwi (New Zealander) teacher. We help kids, teens, and adults improve their English through fun, customized classes.
Q: Who is the teacher?
A: Classes are taught by a certified native English teacher from New Zealand with over 15 years of teaching experience and TEFL/TESOL certification.
Q.: Are there other teachers?
A: Yes! We have a few other teachers that we advertise the profile of on KiwiTutor.
Q: What ages do you teach?
A: We work with students of all ages — from Super Junior Kids (3–5 years old) to adults. Lessons are adapted to the student’s age, level, and goals.
Q: How are the classes delivered?
A: All lessons are conducted via Google Meet — no software installation is required.
Q: What materials are used?
A: All materials are created by the teacher and tailored to each student. After each lesson, we send a summary with class material and optional homework (on request).
Q: What technical requirements do I need?
A: You’ll need:
A stable internet connection of at least 5 Mbps download / 2 Mbps upload
A computer is highly recommended for best results (rather than a phone)
Q: How much do classes cost?

Adults (1 hour): 65,000 COP
10-class adult package: 550,000 COP
Kids 15 mins (Super Junior): 27,000 COP | 10-class package: 250,000 COP
Kids 25 mins: 50,000 COP | 10-class package: 450,000 COP

Q: How do I pay?
A: Payments are made through Nequi Davivienda. If using Mercado Pago PSE or credit card (5% fee applies for credit cards).
Q: Do I need to pay in advance?
A: Yes, all classes must be paid in advance to confirm your spot — except the free 15-minute trial, which doesn’t require payment.
Q: Do class packages expire?
A: Yes. Packages must be used within 3 months of purchase. If needed, you can pause or extend the package by mutual agreement.
Q: How do I book a class?
A: Bookings are made through the website. While fixed weekly times are recommended, flexible scheduling is available for package students.
Q: Can I cancel or reschedule?
A: Yes — just notify us at least 12 hours before the class to avoid losing the session.
Q: What happens if I'm late or miss a class?
A: If the student is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the class is marked as absent. The same applies if a class is canceled with less than 12 hours' notice.
Q: How do you track progress?
A: We track your progress using:
Your payment and attendance status
Completion of lesson material
A shared chat and progress log (Excel format) with feedback and goals
Q: Do you give certificates?
A: Yes! We can provide a certificate or written report for regular students upon request.
